My mom lived at an independent living facility before moving to Creekside at Elfindale-ALF. She has lived here six months, and her overall health and mental awareness has greatly improved due to the care and reassurance she gets from the staff!
Creekside at Elfindale is a beautiful community and our family has experienced excellent care for our aunt. The staff is very responsive to our questions and care request for our aunt. She is proud of her new home and enjoys activities and visiting with other residents. The movies are an added treat and she loves the activities they do that give back to others. The community was recommended to us by the rehab community she was in following a hospital stay. I told them how appreciative our family has been that she is safe and has excellent care. I used to worry about her during bad weather and how would we get food and medicine. During our last snow, she shared with me how she took a walk around the community, stopped and fixed herself a soft serve ice cream and enjoyed watching the snowfall. She said she thought of a poem she used to teach her children in school about snow while enjoying the view from their window. Now I sleep so much better knowing food and medicine along with comfort are part of her life. We are very grateful to Elfindale.
